High Resolution ISO5000 and SSS working well.

_DSC0521-ISO5000 One thing I have noticed is the 12MP CMOS sensor seems to pick all particulate detail in the water and on the inside of the glass. This particulate detail is much, much more noticeable on the A700 than it is with the 6MP KM5D and 5MP Minolta 7hi shots.

This handheld Sony Alpha A700 shot was made at 300mm (450mm 35eq.) with the Sony 70-300 APO DG. This Sony A700 raw shot was processed with IDC 2.0 and no sharpening or noise reduction has been done on this photo. As you can see Sony SSS is performing effectively on this telephoto shot.
