Sony DSLR-A700 (version 2 firmware) with the Sigma 70-300 APO DG Macro ISO2500

Sony was quick to release a firmware update to the
Sony A100. Quite possibly addressing early user complaints of the watercolor
look Sony has release Firmware version 2.0. This firmware update addresses the
following issues, claims Sony.
- Sharper images taken under low contrast conditions.
- Reduced image noise for ISO3200 pictures.
- Improved flash control for objects closer than 1
meter with non ADI controlled lenses.
I have updated my A700 to version 2 and all went
smooth. I will be uploading some Sony Alpha A700 samples shot with version 2
firmware this evening.
